Cabin
We try to have it all, so you, our guest, can truly unwind! We have a fully stocked kitchen, including spices, a crock pot, coffee/tea, filtered water, welcome beverages and more. We supply all the bathroom essentials and bedding needs. Of course, a yoga mat. Please ask if your group has a specific request, we’re more than happy to accommodate.
Outdoors
Wander and Root Cabin is the perfect mountain getaway to connect with nature. Enjoy the perks of the Arrowhead Lake community, including two lakes with four sandy beaches, three heated outdoor pools, playgrounds, sports courts, and a lodge with a fitness center and game room. A big perk is the rental shack, with kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, sports equipment and more! Community Events including, bonfires with music, golf cart parades, crafts and much more happening most weekends.
Enjoy a golf cart(yes… included with your stay!), bikes, two paddleboards, life vests, coolers, beach towels, sand toys, sports equipment, outdoor games, and much more! A fire pit, BBQ, and hammocks also support our mission to ensure a cozy, retreat-like stay.
Adventure
Skiing and Snowboarding
You're just a short drive from three ski mountains including Jack frost (13.2 miles), Big Boulder (15.6 miles) and Camel Back Mountain(19 miles).
Hiking
Austin T Blakeslee (9.4miles) natural area rewards its hikers with a beautiful waterfall at the end. Thomas Darling Nature Preserve (10.4 miles) is great for bird watching and Hickory Run State Park (22.7 miles) has a Boulder Field sure to impress.
Family Adventure
Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours (12.3 miles), Pocono Raceway (12.7 miles), Kalahari Resorts (15.2) Camelbeach Mountain(20.4) are all great options for some family fun!
Kids
Kids love it here! We are fully stocked for kids of all ages. We offer a pack and play, a high chair, board games, toys, and kids' books. The loft is a big hit with the five and up crowd.
